The Movie Reviewer Episode 8: The Menu

A couple traveled to an island to go through different courses of food. When everyone arrived at the island, chef Slowik plans on killing everyone who came to the island. Tyler’s date wanted to escape the island, but failed a few times. Some people got kill by the cooks. Everyone got scared, and wanted to leave the island. But, chef Slowik wouldn’t let them. The chef gave everyone outside a few minutes to run away from the cooks in order to escape the island. Those who try to escape got caught, and was forced to go back inside the building.

Chef Slowik reveals to Tyler’s date that Tyler knew what will happened if they come to the island, and Margot hits him. Chef Slowik got Tyler to cook a dish for him, and Chef Slowik was disappointed at his dish, and told him to commit suicide. 

A guy came inside the room, and everyone thought he came to rescue them. Margot gave him a note asking for help. The guy reads it, pulls out a gun, and pretended to save everyone. Everyone asks to get rescued. The guy left, and Slowik let Margot escapes the island. Margot tried to get the other guests to come with her. But, they didn’t want to go with her, and decided to stay. 

Margot told Slowik, screw him, and that this isn’t really a food satisfaction because none of the guests didn’t get to eat some of the the food the cooks gave them. Slowik asks Margot, “what would you like them to cook for her?” She replied, “a cheeseburger, and French fries.” Chef Slowik cooks her a cheeseburger, and French fries, and puts it into a to-go box. Before, the final course. Chef Slowik lets her leave, and kills everyone with the human s’mores course by putting s’mores costumes on them, and kills himself. He told them, “he loves them”. Everyone replied, “they love you, too chef Slowik.”

Rating: 7/10 stars.

Dislikes: They made some of the texts a bit difficult to read during the courses. Chef Slowik didn’t give everyone enough time to escape the island when they had the chance.
